Kingsway Halloween 2008

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Halloween 2008 and - once again - the kids were out in force, terrorising villagers in an attempt to extort free goodies, as trick or treat fever hit Kingsway Village.

Sadly - owing to some terrible planning on my part (and - to be fair - recent illness and a very busy time) - my camera battery was woefully underpowered  so I only managed a handful of pic’s this year, and didn’t make enough for a gallery (like the 2007 Halloween Pics).

We did see hundreds excited children in a variety of excellent outfits and I did manage a few scary snaps… (click the pics to see them in full-size):

Phoenix and brother Cheyenne (above-Right) braved the freezing cold and walked miles (along with mum and dad… sigh), knocking on hundreds of doors (mostly those with a pumpkin on display, although we also tried many houses with lights on show) and both the kids came home with enough sweets (& other goodies) to see them through ’til Christmas!

Once again the response was fabulous, Kingsway Villagers were well prepared and really entered into the Halloween spirit.

Special apologies to all those who went to so much trouble to decorate their houses, I really would have liked to photograph a few.

Huge THANKS to all those who generously donated to Phoenix’ and Cheyenne’s tooth decay campaign

See you all again in 2009
