Ladies Night Out
I happened across a notice for ”Pink Ladies Night”, a pamper evening in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign which takes place on 22nd February from 19:30 to 00:00 at the Hardwicke Village Hall.
I thought it might be of interest to our female residents as a fun night out, an opportunity to meet people in the area and - of course - a way to contribute to a very worthy cause.
Advance ticket price is £4 (will be £5 on the door) which includes entry to a prize draw and a goody bag and entertainment will include a hair show by C14, treatment stalls, a raffle and a bar.
Tickets will be limited due to hall capacity and they sold out last year so it’s worth booking early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are available from: Karen Stacey (01452 722023), Karen Jellyman (01452 729162) and Maggie Heath (01452 728159).

This was a lovely evening (perfect to de-stress after a busy school holiday week) and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
With the event being for such a good cause everyones spirits were high. There were lots of stalls from wooden flower arrangements to shoes, jewellery and make overs.
I went with a friend, I had an eyebrow wax before having my make up done and then went and had a mini manicure whilst my friend had her make-up done then an eyebrow wax before going for a lovely shoulder massage. We both left feeling great!
The organisers also ran a raffle with about 30 prizes (I won a Nivia pamper bag which I am looking forward to using).
I’m looking forward to the next one (around July) at Severn Vale School.

I spoke to Karen Stacey today, she said “The evening was a great success and everybody loved the hair show. We had numerous Kingsway residents attending and managed to raise in excess of £540.00 for breast cancer… I would like to thank everybody for taking part”.
