Travel Plan Questionnaire

Created by Ruth

Hopefully you have all received a travel plan questionnaire by now. If not please go to http://rslht.co.uk/kingsway-questionnaire/ to complete a questionnaire or contact us on 07530-527514 for a paper copy. Alternatively you can pick one up from Badhams Pharmacy which is also a drop off point.

It is really important for you all to try and improve your links to the outside world! This could be improved cycle/walking routes, more frequent buses (further into Kingsway), links to trains etc. It gives you the opportunity to voice your opinion on the subject in order for change to happen. We need a good return from you to make an impact though.

Quedgeley Urban Village Ltd (the developers) and Gloucester County Council are sponsoring this initiative. It will become an annual event so we will have to ask the same questions again to continue the sustainable travel initiative.

On behalf of RSL Highways and Transportation.

    Hi All,

I would encourage you to fill these out and drop them back at either Badhams Chemist, or through my letterbox at 70, Thatcham Ave’, and we will pass them on.

It may just give us the weight we need to push hard for better amenities and transport links (‘though I grant you it may not do anything at all).

    Cheers

    Morning,

Thanks for the link ability beyond the form posted - completed the online form!

I’ve done mine too today. On a similar note, I sometimes walk from the Kingsway School to the City Centre and it currently takes me about an hour. About 15 min’s is taken up getting from the School to the Petsmart/KFC lights as I go through the underpass, past the garage in Quedgeley, down to the lights which seems like it might be the long way around as I’m doing a loop!

Can anybody recommend a quicker walking route to take me to Petsmart lights then up Bristol Road into the Centre?

I’d rather not use the canal path.

    Hey Folks

Don’t forget to fill out the Travel Survey if you have not already done so, Once complete you can drop it into Badhams Chemist or through my front door (70, Thatcham Ave’).

Or if you have lost it (easy to do in the Christmas frenzy) don’t panic, you can use the link in the note above to go and complete it online.

There has already been great responses from residents, and the more we get, the better the data and the more it can be used as an effective demonstration of need!

    Cheers
    Barry

    Hi EG:

I work down by the Quays and the way I ride to work on my bike is I cut through into Tuffley at the end of Woodvale, (straight on at the Roundabout as opposed to turning right up Thatcham). When you cut though on to Cardinal Drive, follow the path to the right at the roundabout on to Streamside where you will come to another round. You can either take the route (left) over the bridge which will bring you out on the opposite side of Pet’s At Home, or if you cross over the road and take the path down the side of the overpass, this will bring you out next to Euro Car Parts.

I hope you find this info’ helpful.

    Uxbridge Couple.
